Auditions for the 2025-2026 Maryland Dance Team will take place on April 27th, 2025.

LOCATION: Xfinity Center Pavilion

DATE & TIME: April 27th, Time TBA

What to Bring:

  • Medical Waiver

  • Headshot

  • Water bottle/snacks

  • Sports bra/top

  • Booty shorts (tights if you would like)

  • Full performance hair (curled)

  • Full performance make up (red lipstick, lashes)

  • Performance Earrings*

  • Sneakers

  • Closed toe jazz shoes

*If you do not have performance earrings, just wear small studs*

*Starred times are estimates. Tryouts can take as few as 2 hours or as many as 7 hours to complete. Please plan accordingly.*

  • Pom/Jazz Routine (from prep class)

  • Hip Hop Routine (from prep class)

  • Across the Floor Combinations (from prep class)

    • Front Leap (Right & Left) 

    • Side Leap (Right & Left) 

    • Calypso (Right & Left) 

    • Fouettes 

    • Double, Triple Pirouettes

    • Toe Touch

  • New Choreography (taught day of by our choreographer)

  • Head spring

  • Kip up

  • Flexibility

  • Special Tricks (front/side aerial, back handspring, tumbling, etc)
