Be a part of the Maryland Dance Team again! If you are interested in dancing sidelines again as a special alumni member of the Maryland Dance Team, join us at this year’s homecoming game!

ATTIRE FOR SIDELINES: Please wear your Dancer Under Armor shirts, black leggings/yoga pants, comfortable sneakers, and bring your Poms!

TICKETS:

If you participate in the Alumni Dance Team, you do not have to buy yourself a game ticket. But your friends and family will still need a ticket to enter the stadium.

Game tickets for family and friends can be purchased directly from the UM ticket office. You can also look for tickets on StubHub or other resellers.

Available seating will not be with the Alumni Dance Team, so if you plan to bring children that need supervision, please bring another adult that can take them into the stadium through the gate. As far as we know, the Alumni Dance Team will be dancing in front of Section 21, so please plan accordingly with your guests when purchasing tickets.

TRUCKING:

We will be trucking to the stadium (with the kids or by ourselves TBD). Stadium rules state that all participants must still stay with the Alumni Band and enter through the tunnel to gain entrance. If you cannot truck or get to the tunnel, please email president@umbao.org.

TUNNEL ENTRANCE:

Only performing Alumni Band members will be allowed through the tunnel at Maryland Stadium SECU Stadium. Everyone else must have a ticket and enter through a gate.

The Athletic Department has strongly emphasized that they will not allow any drinking in the tunnel, and will kick-out anyone (or everyone) in the Alumni Band if someone is caught drinking in the tunnel or “appears intoxicated”.

PARKING:

There is plenty of parking on the shoulders of Route 193 near the Stadium Drive entrance. You can also purchase on-campus parking for individual games. For this game, we highly recommend you purchase a permit ahead of time. Please see the Transportation Services Football Parking page for more information and game day parking maps, or to purchase a permit.

CLEAR BAG POLICY:

SECU Stadium will allow the following bags:

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” × 6” × 12”

  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)

  • Small clutch bags, measuring 4.5” × 6.5” with or without a handle or strap
